Again Again by E. Lockhart
A raw, funny story that will surprise you over and over, Again Again gives us an indelible heroine grappling with the terrible and wonderful problem of loving other people. (synopsis from amazon.com)

Unlike her previous NYT bestsellers, E. Lockhart's Again Again isn't full of mystery or drama. Instead, readers are drawn into Adelaide's inner world, complete with hopes, dreams, fears, strengths, and flaws.
I picked up Again Again and decided to read it as soon as I noticed E. Lockhart was the author - I didn't read the synopsis. I read Genuine Fraud and We Were Liars (to be reviewed later) and enjoyed them so much, I didn't need to know what this new book was about to know that I would like it.
E. Lockhart did not disappoint.
Even though it is my least favorite of the three I have read, Lockhart's writing style alone was enough to keep me captivated in Adelaide's world of possibilities.
The author is brave and successful - something I hope to be as a writer. She takes risks with her style and storytelling. I love it. It's fresh; it's new. I look forward to Lockhart's next work and will be rereading her existing novels until then.
