This Star Won't Go Out by Esther Earl, Lori Earl, Wayne Earl, and John Green
A collection of the journals, fiction, letters, and sketches of the late Esther Grace Earl, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 16. Photographs and essays by family and friends will help to tell Esther’s story along with an introduction by award-winning author John Green who dedicated his #1 bestselling novel The Fault in Our Stars to her. For any lover of The Fault in Our Stars, This Star Won't Go Out is an absolute must. I can't remember every curse word in every book that I've ever read so I'll cover my butt and say there might be a few in this book. Profanity is not rampant by any means and let's be honest, if anyone is allowed to swear, it's a sixteen year old girl who's dying of cancer.
This book means a lot to me. It has changed and shaped my perspective on life and how we live day-to-day. I laughed, I cried, I pondered Esther's words. I only wish I could have met her before she passed away.
Please read this book and spread the world about Esther's legacy.
Happy reading!
